Contribute to healthy learning environments as a Nutrition Assistant at Chief Kahkewistahaw Community School. This role emphasizes meal preparation and nutrition maintenance for students.

The Nutrition Assistant is a key position supervised by the Principal and Assistant Principal. You will help plan, prepare, and deliver nutritious breakfast and lunch for over 250 students from Head Start to Grade 12. This role includes managing inventory, budgeting, and ensuring food safety standards are met, directly supporting students' nutritional needs during the academic year and summer months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning nutritious menus for daily meals

• Ensure strict food safety and kitchen hygiene

• Manage food inventory and budget efficiently

• Prepare breakfast and lunch services for students

• Work closely with school staff to promote healthy eating

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in food service or nutrition

• Knowledge of food safety practices essential

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Passion for enhancing student nutrition

• Must provide application materials and references
