End Janitor

Position: Week-end Janitor
Weekend Janitor - Part Time Casual, Bathurst NB
Interfor Bathurst NB is looking for energetic and enthusiastic people to join our team as Weekend Janitor - Part Time Casual.

What You'll Do

Work Saturday and Sunday, 7 AM – 3:30 PM

Reports to Maintenance Supervisor

Required to work with all PPE needed

Ensure safety for yourself and co-workers, including good communication with all employees

Clean bathrooms at the mill and garage; replenish hand towels and toilet paper dispensers

Clean supervisor’s office, electrician’s office, kiln’s office, stockroom office, and maintenance office

Clean lunchroom at sawmill and garage; empty all garbage cans

Clean locker rooms

Clean stairway and hallway at sawmill main entrance

Ensure all drinking water bottles and cup dispensers are always replenished

During winter months, keep main entrance clean and safe

Report any safety hazards and breakdowns to supervisor

Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor

What You Offer

Experience in a janitorial/cleaner role is an asset

Availability to work on Saturday and Sunday

Ability to lift 30 lbs consistently and stand, walk, climb stairs, and perform cleaning tasks for full shift

Ability to work independently
