Position: Full-Time Park Maintenance Worker - Lakeland
Join the Lakeland District team as a full-time Park Maintenance Worker, committed to maintaining beautiful public parks and facilities. You will perform hands-on maintenance and landscaping tasks at Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park and surrounding areas.

The Ministry of Forestry and Parks is hiring for several Park Maintenance Worker roles. Ideal candidates will have experience in lawn maintenance, cleaning park facilities, and operating tools like mowers and weed wackers.

Your role will actively support the daily operations and appearance of key recreational sites, providing essential services to the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine lawn maintenance and facility repairs

• Perform custodial cleaning of park amenities

• Operate small hand tools and equipment effectively

• Respond to visitor inquiries about park conditions

• Complete administrative tasks such as timesheets

Requirements:

• Some high school education required

• Drivers License and Abstract needed

• First Aid and CPR Level “C” certification

• WHMIS certificate required

• Ability to handle physically demanding outdoor work
