SEND Teaching Assistant (Morning Only)
Location:
Kirklees Area
Contract:
Temporary – January to Easter
Hours:
Mornings only (Monday–Friday)
We are seeking a caring, reliable SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in a school within the Kirklees area.
Responsibilities- 1 or small group support for pupils with SEND
- Supporting learning, engagement, and emotional wellbeing
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Assisting with classroom activities and routines during morning sessions
- Experience working with children with SEND (school or similar setting)
- A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant TA or SEND qualifications (desirable but not essential)
This role is mornings only, making it ideal for those seeking part-time work. The position runs from January until Easter, with the possibility of extension.
