A brilliant secondary school in Batley is looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and caring Teaching Assistant to join their team, supporting pupils aged 11-16 with behaviour needs, additional learning needs, and general classroom support. Although the role will begin on a day‑to‑day basis, the school has been consistently busy and has a strong track record of offering regular work and even long‑term placements for the right person. 🌟
🎯 What You'll Be Doing

Supporting students with behavioural needs, helping them stay engaged and focused
Providing SEN support, adapting tasks and offering 1:1 or small‑group guidance
Assisting teachers in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
Helping maintain a calm, safe classroom atmosphere💼 What We're Looking For

Experience working with children or young people in a school or community setting within the last two years (essential)
A patient, resilient, and encouraging approach
Confidence supporting behaviour and additional needs
Someone who can bring energy, empathy, and reliability to the role
