At Hays Education, we're working with a number of welcoming and supportive secondary schools across Batley who are looking for talented Art Teachers to cover both day-to-day supply and long-term placements from September onwards.

Following a particularly busy academic year, many of our partner schools relied heavily on quality supply staff and are expecting similar demand throughout the new academic year. Whether you're looking for a few days each week or a longer-term teaching opportunity, we can help find a role that works around your needs.

The Role As an Art Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Deliver engaging and creative Art lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
• Foster creativity, confidence, and artistic expression
• Adapt quickly to different school environments
• Support students in developing their practical and theoretical artistic skills
• Create an inspiring classroom environment where creativity can flourish

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Specialism in Art & Design
• Recent experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Art within UK secondary schools
• A strong understanding of the current UK curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• A positive, flexible, and professional attitude
