National Business Development Manager - Education, Healthcare and Public Services

PPG Industries Field Based - Remote

Fantastic opportunity to join our Architectural Coatings business in an important sales role.

Develop and implement a comprehensive national business strategy for the Education, Healthcare and Public Services sectors
. The strategy aims to increase sales, increase margins and expand market share.

You will report to the Commercial Specification Controller.

Key Responsibilities
  • To be the PPG UK expert within the Education, Healthcare and Public Services sectors evidenced by a detailed knowledge of main customers and their procurement process, performance, contract needs and pipeline of projects.
  • Implement PPG's preferred sales methodology
    , incorporating commercial excellence, selling machine principles, process and Goals.
  • Ensure customer records and interactions comply with company guidelines, using Clientlink and other digital platforms to meet budgets to enhance performance.
  • Provide accurate forecasting for your sales ledger, projecting expected sales volume and profit for our product sales.
  • To help secure project specifications nationally and regionally with main targeted accounts.
  • To shape a journey plan to arrange monthly business reviews with all main accounts to support the account and deliver and exceed upon their requirements.
  • Represent PPG as our expert in the market at conferences and events with a presence that communicates our interest, understanding and credibility.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all partners.
Qualifications
  • Educated to degree standard or qualified through appropriate levels of experience.
  • 3 or more years experience selling either a major brand product or service into the commercial arena.
  • Understanding of all aspects of product/service specification and procurement within the UK Education, Healthcare and Public Services sectors.
