Are you a Mechanical Fitter with a background in Mig Welding or similar, looking for a days based mobile role with paid travel?

Join a well-established engineering company that has traded for over 150 years that provides on-site repairs, maintenance, and bespoke fabrication work for a range of industrial customers. You'll work with in a small, skilled team known for quality and reliability, in a stable environment where you can continue to develop your engineering skills.

You'll work on customer sites carrying out daily fabrication, welding, and mechanical fitting tasks. This includes welding, installing and repairing components, pipe threading, machining, and ductwork assembly. The work is varied and practical, often working independently while communicating with customers to understand the job and work safely.

This role would suit a Mechanical Fitter with a background in MIG welding looking for a mobile site based role with paid travel.

The Role

• Carry out on-site fabrication, repairs, servicing, and maintenance of customer machinery and equipment
  Communicate effectively with customers to understand work requirements and site needs
  Comply with all Health & Safety procedures, including confined space work when required
  Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment complete fabrication tasks
  Fabricate components using sheet metal work, machining, pipe threading, ductwork assembly, and installation
  Install and replace mechanical components such as bearings, wear items, and assemblies

The Person

• Mechanical Fitter with a background in MIG welding or similar
  Full UK driving licence (daily travel to customer sites required)
  Commutable Batley
