Sports Coach

Reeson Education are looking for a confident Sports Coach to work in a focused and structured school environment in Batley (WF17). This position of Sports Coach suits someone practical, authoritative, and able to work independently while maintaining strong professional standards.

As a Sports Coach, you will deliver structured physical activity sessions, drive participation through firm routines, and maintain control during high-energy environments. You will reinforce discipline, teamwork, and focus while keeping pupils fully engaged.

• Targeted Guidance:
  Lead structured sports and fitness sessions with clear expectations
• Session Leadership:
  Maintain control, routines, and boundaries throughout the school day
• Behaviour Management:
  Apply firm behaviour strategies during physical activity
• Progress Tracking:
  Track participation, progress, and engagement levels
• Professional Coordination:
  Work efficiently with teachers, behaviour staff, and leadership

• Experience in coaching, mentoring, SEMH support, or structured youth settings
• Strong presence with controlled, direct communication
• Confidence managing challenging behaviour during physical activity
• Quick decision‑making and practical problem‑solving under pressure
• An enhanced DBS on the updated service, or willingness to apply through Reeson Education
