Despatch Operative

Hours: 39 hours(Monday - Thursday - 4 days)

We are looking for a Despatch Operative to join our welcoming team.Working as part of the Despatch Team, this role is responsible for the packaging, loading and unloading of products in a fast paced warehouse environment.

• Packing, moving, loading and unloading furniture pieces using various types of cardboard and plastic packaging and to a high standard for delivery.
• Packaging of all furniture types including heave recliners & sofas
• Using trolleys and carts to move and load furniture onto trailers.
• Scanning barcodes to create shipping documents.
• Creating transport manifests of shipped goods and filing these away for reference.
• Processing and grading returned packaging as part of our recycling scheme.
• Ensuring a clean and safe workplace for all colleagues and visitors.
