Billing Coordinator

Under the general supervision of the Accounts Receivable Manager, this position is responsible for generating and sending out invoices through the Company’s ERP system, researching and resolving cost and billing discrepancies, and contributing to a team effort of ensuring accuracy and efficiency of billing.
Responsibilities- Bill construction and maintenance material and labor to large industrial customers
- Verify adherence to contract rates
- Validate and compile all supporting documentation
- Issue invoices to customers through mail, email, and customer invoicing portals
- Adapt to various customer billing requirements and payable systems
- Research and resolve job cost issues
- Collaborate with the company’s Finance and IT teams
- Assist with various admin functions
- Other similar duties as assigned
- Education:
high school diploma or equivalent required; some college accounting or business coursework a plus - Experience:
1‑3 years in a corporate billing environment - Construction Accounting Experience Preferred
- Experience with an ERP system a plus;
Viewpoint experience a plus - Proficient in Microsoft Office Products – Intermediate level required
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain positive business relationships with internal and external customers
- Skilled at performing tasks accurately and meeting posted deadlines
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Willingness to work as part of a team
