Recruitment Manager at Pivotal Solutions Tax Senior

As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of diversified, usually complex, tax-related tasks, including tax return review and research, assisting the tax managers and partners through preparation of the more complex income tax returns and review of selective individual and business returns.

• You have a CPA License
• You have 3-5 years’ experience
• You have industry experience and are looking to serve clients in new and exciting ways. You bring senior-level tax experience and are prepared to handle more complex personal and business tax returns.
• You have a bachelor’s degree or higher. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or other related program is preferred, along with proficiency in tax software, specifically Prosystem fx.
• You are immersed in Louisiana culture and have a genuine love for the community. One of the most important things to us is genuine care for others-including the entire community, not just those we work with.
• You are a quick thinker, and never stop working to improve the service you provide. Finding a way is one of the most important characteristics of someone who would hold this position.
• You never stop learning. Being intellectually curious will take you far in this role. How can we improve our clients’ experience? How can I streamline processes to make things more efficient? You will also be performing tax research, to put forward our best quality of work. This quality is a must have for any senior at our firm.
• You can think critically. Providing solutions that are practical for each clients’ needs is a major part of this position and our firm’s mission. Not every solution works for every client-it is up to you to decide which way to go.
• You are responsive and reliable. Clients want someone they can trust to be there when they need them, and that truly cares about the success of their company. Being responsive and reliable proves that you care.
• You are a people person. This role involves collaboration with clients outside of the firm, as well as associates and partners inside of the firm. You will be preparing projections for clients and will be involved in their tax planning. You must be able to collaborate respectfully and make clients feel welcome.
