Description:

AMMON Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join a growing organization in the financial services sector in Baton Rouge. The ideal candidate will have experience managing day-to-day accounting functions, a strong grasp of Quick Books, and advanced Excel skills.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting financial operations and ensuring accuracy in reporting.

Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations and vendor communications.

Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and timely.

Maintain general ledger and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

Prepare financial reports and summaries as requested by management.

Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.

Proficient in Quick Books and Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
