La Capitol Federal Credit Union is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to provide support to the Executive Team, including preparing reports, presentations, correspondence, minutes, spreadsheets, and all other communications, utilizing a broad range of computer applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
:
Includes the following; additional duties may be assigned as needed
- Coordinate the monthly Management Meetings - prepare the agendas, and presentations, and facilitate meetings.
- Coordinate the quarterly Achieve Board meetings - prepare the agendas and packets/presentations. Prepare a monthly stats report.
- Attend meetings and keep minutes.
- Administer and oversee the credit union’s vendor contract platform, ensuring all master agreements/contracts are on file and alert renewal notifications are up to date.
- Assist with event planning as needed.
- Work with Compliance and serve as the point of contact for the credit union’s arbitration process.
- Work with the Procedure Development Team to update departmental procedures and maintenance of the Infonet.
- Order lunches for in-office meetings.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly updates to the officials and staff.
- Assist in the handling of member complaints as needed.
- Assist with the annual staff and officials’ parties and planning sessions.
- Perform specialized or confidential administrative duties, including researching data and preparing reports as needed.
- Maintain electronic and paper records, ensuring information is organized and easily accessible.
- Answer the telephone, disseminate information, and resolve questions, and/or route calls to the appropriate individual. Take messages and coordinate follow-through.
- Evaluate incoming correspondence, research, and respond to questions, and route accordingly.
- Compose standard letters for officers. Ensure accuracy of work.
- Understand compliance issues and attend training as they relate to credit union services, including but not limited to:
Bank Secrecy Act, Reg P, and Patriot Act. - Complete other duties as assigned.
Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or two – three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
