Construction Superintendent

Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects from ground up to post construction closeout. The superintendent will be responsible for all on-site operations, managing subcontractors and directly supervising the field workers, taking the project from start to finish. Candidate must have an absolute commitment to safety, strong leadership, organizational and time management skills.

• Oversee all construction trades and subcontractors on-site, verifying that their work aligns with project specifications, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and building regulations, documenting activities in daily reports, safety logs, and material tracking records.
• Review ongoing work to confirm adherence to design, material, and quality specifications, promptly addressing any deviations.
• Coordinate and schedule all subcontractors and/or vendors.
• Maintain inventory and efficient management control of tools and equipment.
• Conduct regular progress and/or coordination meetings with trade subcontractors.
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, government officials, etc.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
• Write daily logs and other necessary documentation.
• Ensure all local, state, and national business codes and regulations are followed.
• Ensure that the team adheres to all company policies and safety protocols.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on commercial projects.
• Knowledge and experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, able-bodied to assist in performing certain portions of the work, and to manage and schedule subcontractors.
• Knowledge of subtrades such as drywall, HVAC, plumbing, etc., and how it relates to ground-up or renovation projects.
• Experience with framing metal buildings is a huge plus.
• Knowledge of concrete forming.
• Demonstration of strong organization and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent at motivating a team and has strong management skills.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable.
