Associate Construction Consultant

Moran Consultants is a national real estate/construction consulting firm providing Construction Loan Monitoring, Due Diligence, and Owner’s Representation / Construction Management services throughout the United States. For 50 years, we have helped lenders, developers, investors, and other real estate professionals navigate the complexities of construction and development.

The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys construction and building/development processes. They must have the ability to quickly review and understand large volumes of information and retain key points. Having the ability to organize, prioritize, and execute many tasks while maintaining quality and accurate work products is a must.

• Gain an understanding of project documentation and monthly review process
• Assist Consultants in the initial review of documentation
• Accompany Consultants in local site visits and assist in the preparation of reports
• Assist in the updating of project logs
• Maintain an organized e-filing system for all project
• Communicate with our clients and individual teams on the status of documentation as well as issues identified
• Travel out of state on an as-needed basis when required to support project site visits

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Finance or other relevant accreditation
• General knowledge of business and management principles
• Communication and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and task-oriented
• Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency
• Computer skills and knowledge of office software package
• This job would require you to work at our office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
