We're seeking a member-focused Bilingual Member Service Representative who is passionate about helping members achieve their financial goals while delivering exceptional service in both English and Spanish.
In this role, you'll serve as a trusted resource for Spanish-speaking members, assisting with financial transactions, account servicing, product inquiries, and digital banking support through a variety of communication channels. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, problem solver, and relationship builder committed to providing an outstanding member experience.
Responsibilities Include:- Serve as the primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking members, providing exceptional service and support across multiple channels, including phone, email, video chat, and secure messaging.
- Assist members with routine financial transactions, account servicing requests, and general banking inquiries.
- Process a variety of member service requests, including debit and credit card assistance, ACH transactions, stop payments, fraud disputes, check orders, and wire transfers.
- Educate members on Credit Union products, services, and digital banking tools to help them maximize their banking experience.
- Identify member needs and recommend products and services that support their financial well-being.
- Assist members with enrollment and navigation of digital banking services and self-service tools.
- Ensure member information is maintained accurately and securely through proper authentication and account maintenance procedures.
- Recognize and elevate potential fraud, account abuse, or other situations requiring additional review.
- Maintain compliance with Credit Union policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Build positive member relationships by providing timely, professional, and solution-oriented service.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, including the ability to read, write, and speak both languages effectively.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience handling financial transactions and resolving member inquiries.
- Ability to identify member needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Comfortable using multiple systems and technology platforms in a fast-paced environment.
