The Ochsner Cancer Institute in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, invites a board-certified Hematologist/Oncologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The position is part of the Institute’s robust office practice with a large referral base and offers a 1:5 call rotation shared among physicians, a 1:1 advanced practice provider model, and full availability for inpatient consultation. The role also provides opportunity to collaborate on clinical trials, advanced digital programs, and research initiatives.

• Provide chemotherapy infusion and radiation oncology services.
• Conduct inpatient consultation with full hospital medicine support.
• Participate in the region’s largest clinical trials program, including Precision Cancer Therapies and the only Phase 1 drug development program in the Gulf South.
• Collaborate within a 1:1 APP model and with allied oncology services such as bone‑marrow transplantation and surgical oncology.
• Use the EPIC medical record platform and the Ochsner Health data warehouse for clinical research and quality improvement.
• Engage in research and teaching, including the Ochsner Hematology/Oncology fellowship program.

• Board certification or board eligibility in Hematology/Oncology.
• Clinical experience in adult hematology and oncology patient care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to quality research and teaching (preferred).
