Interventional Cardiologist

A well-established cardiology group in Baton Rouge is seeking a full time a Full-time Nighttime Interventional Cardiologist to provide dedicated overnight hospital coverage (5pm – 7am). This position is structured as a night time call role, focusing exclusively on Hospital consults and emergent interventions on unrestricted call at night – no clinic responsibilities required.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected team that has consistently maintained two nighttime interventional cardiologist for a robust night coverage. Currently, a locum tenens physician is filling this role, and we are looking for a permanent addition to the team.

Position Highlights :

• Night time only schedule : 5pm – 7am, providing hospital consults and interventional coverage, Unrestricted call.
• No clinic responsibilities required :
  Unrestricted Call Coverage 100% inpatient focused role.

  Work alongside another nighttime interventional cardiologist for support.

Qualifications :

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
• Licensed or Eligible for Medical Licensure in Louisiana
• Strong Clinical skills in emergency cardiac interventions
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, hospital-based environment.
