As a Before & After Care Worker, you will assist in maintaining an orderly, safe, and pleasant atmosphere in the cafeteria, on the playground, and in other designated locations by helping and supervising students during authorized before or after school programs in accordance with CSUSA policy and established school procedures.

Instruction/Education Responsibilities
- This position requires professionalism and excellent customer service in interactions with students, parents, and staff.
- Resolve conflicts with children and parents; be firm but friendly; maintain courtesy and professionalism with parents, children, and coworkers. Program assistant reports to the Director of the Before and After Care Program and to the school principal.
- Follows proper student sign-in and dismissal procedures for Before Care.
- Follows proper student check-in and dismissal procedures for After Care.
- Monitors students and oversight of who enters and leaves childcare areas.
- Passes out snacks.
- Plays with students on playground.
- Tutors and assists students with homework as needed.
- Resolves conflicts with children and parents.
- High school diploma or higher education credential.
- Previous experience as daycare assistant or summer camp counselor, preferred.
- Must like children.

- May perform other duties as assigned.
Usual school working conditions. May be noisy during high student traffic.
