Star Hill Baptist Church, located at 400 North Foster Drive Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70806 is prayerfully seeking a full‑time pastor who is called by God and equipped to effectively preach and teach the Word of God.

We require a leader with excellent leadership abilities, strong organizational, critical and analytical thinking skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to foster relationships with members of the church as well as the community.

The pastor is responsible to the church for providing spiritual, educational and administrative leadership and outreach. The pastor will use his/her skills in proclamation, motivation and pastoral care to meet the needs of the people in the church and the community for which the church is responsible.

• A licensed ordained minister with a minimum of 5 years of pastoral experience and able to provide documentation of licensure and ordination.
• Degree from an accredited Seminary, School of Divinity, Bible College or University.

• Plan and lead worship that inspires and challenges attendees to apply biblical teaching to their daily lives.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all ministry leaders.
• Maintain a consistent study and prayer life.
• Demonstrate a lifestyle committed to Christ through choices and practices.
• Teach weekly Bible Study and collaborate with the Sunday School facilitators.
