Electrical Engineer

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who will perform engineering duties as necessary to ensure completion of projects on schedule. The associate must be able to independently perform assignments requiring the application of standard design engineering techniques for a small project or selected segments of a larger project.

• Develop and/or review designs and installations to ensure correctness and compliance with standards, applicable codes, regulatory requirements, and project deliverables
• Responsible for the E&I design basis on assigned projects
• Defines specifications for budgetary quotes / estimates related to equipment and designs as assigned
• Evaluate deviations to designs and make recommendations for resolution
• Assemble detailed construction bid packages for execution
• Assist in creating cost estimates for scopes of work
• Familiar with low voltage power systems
• Self-starter, able to work with little supervision
• Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to make sound technical decisions
• Good interpersonal skills to interact well within a team environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills both oral and written
• Makes and implements sound decisions for both designs and installations
• Ability to create Engineering man-hour estimates

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from accredited educational institution.
• 5+ Years of experience in the Petrochemical industry.
• A valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standards and its insurers.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work with a team, take direction from supervisor, keep required work schedule, focus on attention to details, and follow work rules.
