. The base salary range is $69,500.00 /yr – $95,500.00 /yr
. This position is open throughout the United States with preference for candidates near a Jacobs office.

• Design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes, documenting and modeling design information.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, and specify instrumentation while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
• Coordinate work activities with other team members and the discipline lead, providing on‑site assistance during startup.
• Actively participate in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, producing control system designs and exploring options for process control, instrumentation, and automation.
• Maintain schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks, aligning with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience working with instrumentation and control systems.

• Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, and other control applications.
• Experience with Data Centers.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.
• Displayed ability to learn quickly and drive knowledge expansion.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Passion for buildings and construction.
