Overview

Become a part of ENERCON as an Instrumentation and Controls Design or Project Engineer. We are seeking talented I&C Engineers at all experience levels, from early-career professionals to principal engineers. Responsibilities

  • Create Impactful Engineering Deliverables:
    Produce precise and error‑free drawings, calculations, and analyses that exceed industry codes, standards, and client expectations.
  • Set the Standard:
    Develop engineering documents that meet but surpass client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay on the Cutting Edge:
    Continuously enhance expertise in industry codes, safety culture principles, and advanced design techniques.
  • Drive Quality & Precision:
    Deliver exceptional engineering solutions aligned with rigorous quality assurance programs.
  • Cultivate Strong Client Connections:
    Build trust and lasting relationships through clear communication and professional engagement.
  • Collaborate for Success:
    Partner with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated designs that meet project requirements.
  • Be Active in the Field:
    Perform on‑site plant walk‑downs and ensure all systems meet highest engineering standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical or similar Engineering Degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with design of electrical systems.
  • Experience in engineering/design services, power generation, nuclear power, heavy industrial, chemical or pulp & paper, energy, and government (DOE) projects is highly preferred.
  • Good writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and in teams.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Some roles may involve federal contracts requiring U.S. citizenship. Only U.S. citizens will be considered for those positions.
  • Senior engineers typically have 7 years of post‑graduate experience in a related role.
  • Principal engineers typically have 10 years of post‑graduate experience in a related role.

Pay Range

USD $90,000.00 – USD $ per year
