PLM Migration Architect

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with end-to-end PLM Migration, having hands‑on execution experience and must have and managed the migration solution design and execution.
• 3‑4 large end‑to‑end Data Migrations done into various PLM tool sets like Windchill & Teamcenter from various target systems.
• Must have experience working with onsite‑offshore model, working with customer, product vendors and service partners seamlessly.
• Have a strong analytical understanding towards CAD and Non‑CAD data and its constructs across multiple PLM and ERP enterprise systems.
• Overall good understanding about databases, its structure, PLM data across various tables with relations and PLM data models along with data transformation understanding.
• Good Understanding of Windchill PLM Data Model and Database architecture.
• Strong “Hands‑on” experience using Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) tool and familiar with WBM Database architecture and use.
• Understanding of WBMFF or CAD profiler framework.
• Good in Oracle (SQL/PLSQL) and Core Java.
• Understanding of ETL process (extract, transform and load).
• Experience in CAD / NON‑CAD data migration.
• Writing Custom Scripts for extraction from various source systems and loaders where needed.
• Having managed the lifecycle of Data Migration Scripts through its Create, Validate and receiving approvals stages with customers.
• Strong Expertise in writing SQL queries and other scripting languages like Python, Jscript etc.
• Data Model, Data Mapping and Transformation Expertise.
• Strong and Smooth Execution of Data Migration Rehearsals.
• Resolution of issues that arise out of Rehearsal's and documentation for customer references.
• Strong Pre and Post Migration validation skills and process of data migrated.
• Strong client and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Has done Migration competency and practice development (tool building, process standardization etc) capability building.
• Excellent business communication skills, verbal and written skills.
• Multiple Migration tool handling and execution experiences.
• Experience of core business processes, preferably in a Discrete Mfg industry.
• Technical resource who will participate in solution design to execution.
• Migrate Data from Legacy PLM & old PLM versions to latest PLM target version using various Migration tool sets.
