Position: Relay Settings Electrical Engineer

The client is a leading provider of electrical engineering solutions, specializing in power system protection and relay settings. They are looking for a full-time Relay Settings Electrical Engineer to join their team in Baton Rouge, LA.

Requirements:

• Professional Engineer (PE) License is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in relay settings and power system protection.
• experience with modelling software Aspen, Cape, & E-tap
• Hands-on experience with Schweitzer relays (SEL).
• Experience with both microprocessor-based and electromechanical relays.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement relay settings for protection systems.
• Perform analysis, testing, and troubleshooting of protective relay systems.
• Work with Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) relays.
• Handle both microprocessor-based and electromechanical relays.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with other engineers and field teams to optimize system reliability.
