As a Chemical Engineer II here at Solstice, you will use your broad knowledge to aid in the development of improved manufacturing procedures and processes and provide technical expertise to ensure the operation produces product that meets quality, cost, and efficiency requirements at our 24/7 manufacturing facility in Baton Rouge, LA.
Key Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day support for manufacturing processes
- Lead improvement initiatives
- Monitor performance of processes throughout production
- Troubleshoot problems with manufacturing processes
- Conduct analysis and prepare reports
- Design experiments
- Gather estimates of the cost of production
- Lead productivity projects
- Develop scope for capital improvements
You Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering
- Ability to work weekends and on-call as needed

- Experience in chemical industry manufacturing, operations, or engineering roles
- Understanding of engineering principles and mathematics
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Experience scoping projects with business-level impact

CompensationThe annual base salary range for this position is $92,000–$120,000. Solstice considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, and market and business considerations.
