The RolePart‑Time Audio‑Visual (AV) Technician will be responsible for the setup, operation, and breakdown of all special event audio, lighting, video, and internet equipment, delivering the company’s Bally’s DNA standards to both internal and external guests.
Responsibilities- Participate in all departmental and company meetings.
- Maintain and care for property and rental AV equipment.
- Effectively calculate electrical for all AV equipment usage.
- Work safely with high‑voltage electricity.
- Ensure all audio and visual needs are properly set up in a timely manner for all property events.
- Deliver the company’s Bally’s DNA standards when interacting with all internal and external guests.
- Provide recommendations to gain the best experience for the guests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and or technical problems.
- Clean, sanitize, and update equipment as needed.
- Work side by side with the Catering Sales Manager and Director of F&B for all special events at the property.
- Immediately report any safety hazards, problems, or maintenance issues to the appropriate party.
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower others to do the same.
- Handle routine guest complaints and incidents and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel.
- Work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in audio‑visual, production, or as an IT technician.
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, guest service, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and presence with the ability to interact with guests and team members.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
