RoleA Laborer performs general maintenance, repairs and grounds work throughout the facility and provides outstanding guest service.
Responsibilities- Build guest relations throughout every shift by talking with guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back.
- Responsible for general maintenance and grounds work of all facilities on property and the property itself. Perform maintenance with guidance from supervisor.
- Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and replacing gaming table layouts with instructions provided by a supervisor.
- Basic knowledge of the HVAC system, alarm system, and generators. Perform routine maintenance on the systems with instruction from supervisory personnel.
- Ability to perform basic painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other projects relating to maintenance of the property with guidance from supervisory personnel.
- Follow the outline of preventative maintenance as scheduled.
- Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
- Handle routine guest complaints and incidents, and exhibit discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel – seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
- Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
- Previous maintenance experience (preferred).
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, guest service, written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and presence with the ability to interact with guests and team members in the Company.
