Surveys of Security Operations handle 2‑3,000 transactions daily. The role answers routine and emergency calls for security assistance, dispatches officers, notifies supervisors, and monitors video screens and security logs. Professional judgment is required to respond to hospital and clinic codes, coordinate on‑call and emergency preparedness across the main campus and regional clinics, and handle notification of security incidents.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
• 1 year experience as a telephone operator, dispatcher, or related field (Required)
• International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) Certification to be obtained within 90 баргузор days of promotion/hire (Required)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Computer proficiency for data entry and retrieval of patient information; proficiency with Windows applications and keyboard use.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to present information clearly to varying audiences.

• Strong interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
• Good command and clear use of the English language.

Job Duties

• Consistently answer calls using the standard company greeting.
• Gather and document information from callers to determine level of security assistance and dispatch officers.
• Respond to all codes and notifications during emergency incidents.
• Maintain knowledge of federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements and ensure compliance.
• Report unethical or questionable behavior, and address patient/employee safety, privacy, and other compliance concerns.
• Perform drank, data entry, log maintenance, and notification tasks for regional clinics.

Physical & Environmental Demands

Involves sedentary work with occasional lifting up to 10 pounds, walking or standing intermittently. No exposure to blood, body fluid or emergency medical care. Occupational risks include hazardous medication and waste. No risk of communicable diseases.
