The base pay range is $75,134.00/yr - $/yr. Note that this position requires relocation to Washington, DC.

Uniformed Division Officers carry out assignments in protection, including:

• Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
• Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
• Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Be a U.S. citizen.
• Possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.
• Be at least age 20 and less than age 37 at the time of receiving a conditional offer of employment.
• Carry and use a firearm, and maintain firearm proficiency.
• Meet specific visual and hearing requirements.
• Submit to a drug test prior to appointment and random drug testing while occupying the position.
• Complete 12 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and 17 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center.
• Certify registration with the Selective Service System or be exempt from having to do so, if applicable.

This is an entry-level, full-time position in law enforcement.
