Perform a variety of technical duties in the Operating Room to assist the surgical team and ensure safe, efficient surgical procedures.

• Prepare Operating Room with appropriate instruments and supplies based on surgical procedure
• Scrub in, maintain aseptic technique, and proactively monitor for potential breaches
• Assist physicians and nurses during procedures, including skin preparation, draping, and transferring patients
• Hand instruments to surgeons in correct order, assist in specimen preparation, and apply postoperative dressings
• Ensure patient positioning based on surgical needs and monitor patient safety throughout the procedure
• Track and maintain surgical equipment, ensure proper functioning and cleanliness after use
• Collaborate with circulating nurse to confirm accurate surgical counts
• Uphold ethical standards and demonstrate calmness in emergent situations
• Perform other duties as assigned
