As an LMSW, LCSW, LPC you will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling sessions to clients with substance abuse and mental health disorders. You will work to provide high quality evidence‑based care tailored to each client’s needs and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that promote long‑term recovery and improve quality of life.
Minimum Qualifications- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
- Current state licensure as a professional counselor or social worker, LMSW, LCSW, LPC required.
- Experience working with patients with substance abuse and mental health disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with evidence‑based treatment modalities.
- Experience working in an outpatient setting.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with patients presenting a range of issues such as relationship issues, depression, anxiety, panic disorder, substance abuse, and other mental health issues.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records.
- Participate in case conferences and treatment team meetings.
- Stay current with best practices and trends in substance abuse and mental health treatment.
A therapist will utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, provide them with the support they need to achieve long‑term recovery, and use evidence‑based treatment modalities to develop and implement effective treatment plans. They will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care and will maintain commitment to best practices and trends in substance abuse and mental health treatment.
