Listing:
We are looking for a weekend housekeeper in a hospital setting. (PRN - As needed)
- Performs daily cleaning of patient rooms, ancillary areas, public areas and any other areas or projects assigned.
- All work is done in accordance with the standard procedures of the Housekeeping Department and in accordance with Hospital objectives.
- The housekeeper will use various cleaning devices, tools, products and supplies needed to complete assigned duties.
- Performs other duties assigned by Department management.
- Must be able to demonstrate skills and knowledge of proper use of chemicals and equipment used in assigned cleaning projects.
- Must be familiar with cleaning equipment and detect any malfunctions for safety to self and others.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- One year or more experience in housekeeping
- Excellent customer/patient service and communication skills
