Responsibilities

• Assign appropriate codes using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and guidelines related to medical coding.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and procedures as needed.
• Assist in the management of medical billing processes and collections.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding practices, regulations, and technologies.

Basic Skills Required

CPC or CCS certification required
AAPC-CPC or AHIMA-CCS certification

Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
