Job Purpose or Mission
Administers advanced life support care to sick or injured persons in prehospital settings and during transport between campuses in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and hospital policies. Performs job duties appropriately for the age population served as defined in the department’s scope of service.
Experience Requirements- 1 year experience as a paramedic
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Nationally certified Paramedic, State of Louisiana Paramedic License
- Valid LA Class D Chauffeur’s license
- BLS-Basic Life Support
- Crises Prevention training (within 6 months of hire)
