• Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) and a graduate of an approved AMA school of Respiratory Therapy
• Knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative, and restorative nursing and medical practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long‑term care
• Able to work a flexible schedule including 8‑ or 12‑hour shifts
• Patient‑care oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Provide general respiratory therapeutic services including oxygen, medical gas, humidification, and suction therapies
• Document patient/resident procedures, organize and analyze data, and maintain accurate records
• Communicate relevant patient/resident information to appropriate physicians and caregivers
• Provide staff education related to respiratory therapy
• Exhibit commitment to results by seeking and recommending/implementing process improvements
• Monitor patient/resident progress and update respiratory care plan as needed
