Scope: Collect specimens for laboratory analysis and prepare for processing by the laboratory. Greet and receive all patients in a professional, warm, and efficient manner. Utilize the laboratory software; register patients into the system for proper specimen processing. Make sure to maximize in‑house laboratory processing.

• Perform venipuncture on patients in both a timely and professional manner.
• Verify laboratory orders are available and patients are registered.
• Process specimens for internal and external processing.
• Manage the laboratory area.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a phlebotomy training program.
• Phlebotomy certification highly preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in a laboratory required; oncology experience preferred.
