Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexibility required for earlier or later procedures

• Call responsibilities divided equally among team members, typically two nights per week and every other weekend

• Weekend on-call coverage from close of business Friday to department opening Monday morning

• Must respond to facility within 30 minutes when called

• Float between IR and Cardiac Cath Lab as needed to provide mutual support

• 2 years of experience in specialty required

• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and Louisiana State License

• Must live more than 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted)

• 24-hour orientation provided over 5 days

• Patient ratio of 2:1 during day shifts

• Daily census of approximately 5 patients with 5 visits per day

• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures

• Conduct interventional radiology procedures including embolizations, angiography, and stent placements

• Maintain sterile technique and equipment, stock supplies, and provide accurate monitoring

• May be assigned to Emergency Team during facility emergency events with expectation to remain until event passes
