The Department of Justice, Office of Attorney General Liz Murrill, is seeking applications for an IT Systems Administrator in the Administrative Services Division. Salary offered will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate selected.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–7 years of relevant experience as a Systems Administrator or similar IT infrastructure role in a medium to large enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Administration (Exchange Online, Intune, Teams, SharePoint) and Microsoft Entra  / Azure AD.
• Experience with Conditional Access and Identity Protection, Active Directory & Group Policy Management.
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2019 or newer, Power Shell scripting for automation and administration.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP networking, VLANs, routing, and firewall configuration (Cisco preferred).
• Experience with endpoint security and patch management tools.
• Strong working knowledge of virtualization technology (VMWare/Hyper‑V).
• Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across technical and non‑technical teams.
• Must be customer‑focused with excellent communication skills with end users and team members.
• Independent and team‑oriented, thriving in high‑volume, dynamic settings.
• Primarily office‑based; occasional travel and after‑hours/weekend support may be required.
• May be required after‑hours or weekend for support during critical system events or upgrades.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for hardware setup or maintenance.

• Microsoft Certified Associate (or higher) in 365, Azure, or Security.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
• CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Certified:
  Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC‑900).
