Azure Engineer HFF Baton Rouge, LA

We're growing the technology group at HFF and need a mid-level Azure Engineer who treats reliability as a feature, not an afterthought. Frame it as HFF trusting your 4 years with $64,000 - $97,000, a technology mandate, and the room to grow into leadership.

• Investigate, diagnose, and fix bugs reported by users and monitoring tools
• Refactor the technology module HFF has been afraid to touch
• Pair with technology analysts so HFF's RabbitMQ models match real behavior
• Catch the warm-yet-rigorous Packer regression in staging before it ever reaches Baton Rouge customers
• Keep the technology Teamwork service humming through Baton Rouge's holiday traffic surge

• The judgment to distinguish a fire drill from an actual fire
• Real Jenkins chops, plus the Teamwork curiosity to keep growing
• Demonstrated comfort presenting to mid-level leadership
• A keen eye for quality and consistency in your output
• Familiarity with Terraform and related tools or frameworks
• Self-direction that survives a quiet Slack channel
• A communicator who can disagree without making it personal

Plenty of firms claim to do technology; HFF actually does it, and from Baton Rouge no less, with an autonomy-rich stubbornness about quality. We default to writing things down so the whole technology team stays in the loop without endless meetings.

This mid-level role pays $64,000 - $97,000 and surrounds it with coaching, coverage, and hours that respect your weekends in LA.

Demand on the technology team has us moving fast to fill this seat.
