Director of Rental Operations

JM Test Systems provides calibration, test and measurement equipment, and technical services across multiple business segments and service locations. We help customers in industrial, energy, manufacturing, and other demanding environments keep critical instruments accurate, compliant, and readyto perform.

Rental is a key part of JM Test Systems' business, with significant room to grow. We're looking for an experienced Rental Director whowants to do more than manage an established operation, and is ready to shapeand scale an entire rental business.

In this role, you will own rental strategy, growth, and profitability across the organization. You'll expand our fleet, markets, and customer reach while bringing together operations, people, technology, and customer demand across multiple locations. Working with Sales, Operations,Finance, and leadership, you'll help decide what the future of rental at JMTest Systems looks like.

• Set the strategy. Own and execute the plan for rental growth, profitability, andmarket expansion, identifying new markets, customers, and equipment opportunities.
• Scale operations. Lead rental operations across multiple locations with consistent, scalable processes that support continued growth.
• Maximize the fleet. Oversee fleet strategy, utilization, procurement, maintenance,and lifecycle management to drive asset ROI and equipment availability.
• Run onthe numbers. Establish and track KPIs for revenue, profitability,utilization, availability, downtime, and customer satisfaction.
• Build astrong team. Lead and develop a high-performing rental team with clear expectations and accountability.
• Grow customer relationships. Drive retention, repeat business, and new opportunities through strong customer relationships and targeted strategies.
• Connect rental to the bigger picture. Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, and leadership, and use technology, data, and market insights to guide decisions and improvements.

• Required:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations, or arelated field.
• Required:10+ years of rental industry experience, including 5+ years in leadership,with proven success growing and scaling a rental business or service line.
• Required:Experience managing a technical or industrial equipment fleet, including utilization, inventory, maintenance, lifecycle costs, and downtime.
• Required:Strong financial acumen in rental pricing, asset ROI, capital planning,budgets, and forecasts.
• Required:Experience with rental management technology, ERP systems, and dataanalytics.
• Required:Proven ability to identify market expansion opportunities and to build,lead, and develop high-performing teams.
• Preferred:Experience leading multi-location rental operations (strongly preferred) and an advanced degree.
