What You'll Do
  • Lead production, coach your team, keep safety tight
  • Track progress, fix issues fast, and keep it moving
  • Be the leader your crew needs—day or night
Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management
  • Supervise and lead maintenance technicians across production and distribution areas
  • Interview, hire, onboard, and train maintenance team members
  • Assign daily work across high-speed bottling and packaging lines
  • Give performance reviews, coaching, and ongoing development
  • Resolve employee concerns and maintain positive team morale
Maintenance Operations
  • Manage the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program for bottling, packaging, conveying, and palletizing equipment
  • Ensure proper repairs on fillers, cappers, labelers, depalletizers, case packers, stretch wrappers, and palletizers
  • Build mechanic schedules and ensure coverage across all shifts
  • Use CMMS and Production Line Monitoring Systems (PLMS) to plan and document work
  • Maintain an organized parts room and ensure the availability of critical spare parts
  • Drive continuous improvement to increase uptime and equipment reliability
Safety, Quality & Compliance
  • Enforce safety rules and required PPE
  • Maintain GMPs, sanitation standards, and a clean, audit-ready work area
  • Protect company assets through proper maintenance practices
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable using basic computer systems and production tracking software.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate a diverse team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed.
  • Dependable, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset.
