TravelRequirement
- This position will be based in the field and require daily travel within assigned territories.
- Technicians will be provided a company vehicle and a company Fuel Card to pay for vehicle expenses.
- Must be able to be insured by Mc Neilus
- 90% Travel
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned:
- Conduct all aspects of advance repairs on all our refuse collection vehicles
- Train other technicians by assisting them with troubleshooting and accurate way of searching for parts.
- Inspect and troubleshoot different types of vehicles to determine a resolution.
- Assist technicians with Quality Control issues when necessary.
- Continuously maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.
- Maintain one's own service truck maintained in good working order, clean and presentable.
- High School Diploma or GED and five (5) or more years of relevant experience in machine assembly, light fabrication; or previous relevant contracting experience with Oshkosh Corporation; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the role .
- Valid driver’s license must be maintained at all times.
- Ability to possess a DOT card.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills, with demonstrated customer relationship and communication strengths.
- Ability to travel up to 80%, including overnight travel up to 20%.
- Experience as a Field Service Technician.
- Experience with welding and hydraulic systems.
- Experience in mentoring and training others.
- CDL license
- This position is based in a manufacturing or production environment and may involve exposure to loud noise, dust, moving machinery, or temperature fluctuations.
- The role may require standing for extended periods, repetitive motions, lifting items up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, climbing, or using tools and equipment.
- Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn when required.
- Visual and auditory acuity are needed for safe equipment operation and effective communication in a busy workspace.

$73,200.00 - $
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
