Overview

Registered Nurse (RN) - Endo at Integrated Resources, Inc (IRI).

Location:

Baton Rouge, LA 70816. Job duration: 3+ months contract (with possibility of extension).

• Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies appropriate for the diverse needs of the patient, family, and other groups or disciplines.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources (human and fiscal) properly and serves as a leader and partner on the interdisciplinary team.
• Uses data, information, and knowledge to evaluate and promote change in order to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Embraces concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale and improvement in the profession of nursing.
• Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including respect for privacy, introducing services or procedures, requesting permissions, and adapting communication style.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Schedule:
  
  8 hours, Monday through Friday. Includes after hours, weekends, and holidays.

• Experience:
  
  Required – 2+ years in the specialty.
• Education:
  
  Required – Registered nurse diploma. Preferred – Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Certifications:
  
  Required – Current RN license in state of practice; current BLS from American Heart Association. Preferred – Certification in clinical specialty area.

• Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
