American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring 2 years of experience and prior travel assignment experience.
Details- Med/Surg unit assignment (Med Surg A4)
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45-07:15)
- Required to float within the hospital as needed
- Active RN license (LA state or compact) required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- One professional reference required
- Orientation includes a virtual day followed by two on-site days with additional EMR training
- Does not accept local candidates; permanent residence must be greater than 50 miles from the facility
- Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Holiday RTO requests should be kept to a minimum
- Any license disciplinary actions or prior professional cancellations must be disclosed for review
