Stocker - Aisle

Responsible for providing prompt and courteous customer service, stocking products on shelves, and maintaining aisles clean.

• Provides prompt, courteous and friendly customer service.
• Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves as well as opens boxes and removes single items to re-stock shelves.
• Rotates merchandise to prevent expiration on shelves.
• Organizes and front‑faces items on shelves.
• Performs inspections to meet HACCP regulations.
• Assists in reviewing inventory for daily product rotation to prevent shrinkage and damages.
• Ensures that shelf pricing is correct and reflects the most recent pricing and market conditions.
• Follows a program to maintain cleanliness of the area by a regular maintenance schedule of scrubbing, pulling out pallets, and cleaning underneath.
• Continuously reviews floor status for safety hazards and promptly handles spills and removes trash such as plastic wrap, plastic ties, pieces of wood, and other waste from the floor.
• Promptly informs supervisors of any low stock/out of stock merchandise.

• Performs other work‑related duties as required and assigned.
• May be required to work in other departments as needed.

• Ability to communicate with customers, co‑workers and supervisors.
• Basic reading and math skills.
• Commitment to company values and strong customer service orientation.

• Must wear steel‑toe boots.

• Temperature is mostly moderate but includes exposure to refrigerated and freezer areas. Temperatures near the Receiving Department and Front‑End vary with outdoor temperatures.
