Sales Consultant

Job Summary:

Ralph Sellers Chevrolet in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and building and maintaining relationships with clients to drive sales of new and pre-owned vehicles. Compensation and Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Guide customers through the buying process and provide information about vehicles and financing options
- Conduct test drives and answer any questions about the features and benefits of different vehicles
- Negotiate and finalize sales to meet or exceed monthly goals
- Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction and cultivate future business
- Utilize CRM system to manage customer interactions and document sales activities
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, market trends, and dealership promotions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth sales process and exceptional customer experience

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive sales or a related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Proficient in computer and CRM systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
