Inside Sales Representative

Description We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in a contract-to-permanent role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, building relationships, and turning inquiries into booked services through attentive support and strong sales instincts. The successful candidate will balance inbound and outbound sales activity with administrative accuracy, helping maintain a full schedule while delivering a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities:

- Respond to incoming customer calls with professionalism and urgency, and return missed calls promptly to maintain strong client engagement.

- Prepare detailed service estimates by collecting key household or commercial information and recording all pricing details accurately.

- Work to retain customers who request cancellation by presenting practical alternatives, then document confirmed cancellations in tracking tools and reporting records.

- Recommend add-on services during customer conversations to expand revenue opportunities and improve overall booking value.

- Proactively fill open schedule gaps by contacting prior, inactive, or unbooked customers and converting leads into confirmed appointments.

- Coordinate and document office or commercial service quotes, ensuring all relevant details are gathered and communicated clearly for review when needed.

- Maintain monthly sales and loss reporting in spreadsheets and visual tracking boards with current and accurate information.

- Enter newly scheduled work into Maid Central, including service frequency, pricing, customer notes, assigned staff, and special instructions, while checking entries for completeness.

- Support daily sales performance by helping ensure cleaning teams have assigned jobs and the schedule remains efficiently staffed. Requirements - Demonstrated experience in inside sales, inbound sales, or customer-facing sales support roles.

- Strong ability to identify revenue opportunities, promote additional services, and contribute to sales growth.

- Excellent phone communication skills with a courteous, service-oriented approach to customer interactions.

- Experience creating accurate quotes and gathering detailed information from customers.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets for reporting and recordkeeping.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage bookings, follow-ups, and administrative updates accurately.

- Comfort handling both sales activity and operational coordination in a fast-paced office environment. Talent Match®
