Security Manager, IT Specialist
The Quick Response Officer (QRO) is a highly specialized internal security officer tasked with providing rapid, decisive action in response to high‑risk security incidents, critical emergencies, or urgent threats across the hospital campus. With expert‑level training and operational readiness, the QRO plays a vital role in safeguarding staff, patients, visitors, and physical assets.
Responsibilities- Rapid deployment and incident response across the entire campus.
- Crisis de‑escalation using advanced techniques to manage volatile confrontations.
- Security patrols ensuring a visible deterrent to breaches.
- High‑risk event support during threats, disasters, or lockdowns.
- Collaboration with law enforcement, fire, EMS, and other agencies.
- Operational excellence – maintain knowledge of protocols, systems, and procedures.
- Availability for flexible assignments across multiple facilities.
- Critical thinking and composure under high‑pressure, combative, or physically demanding events.
- Demonstrate stamina and physical endurance required for sustained exertion.
- Required: Minimum 5 years in military, law enforcement, or both, with a proven track record of handling high‑stress, high‑risk security situations.
- Preferred: Specialized training in Special Operations, Tactical Operations, Crisis Intervention, Defensive Tactics, or De‑escalation Techniques; certifications in advanced crisis response, active shooter response, and emergency medical procedures.
- Required: High School Diploma or GED; preference for additional certifications or education in security management, law enforcement, or related fields.
- Preferred: Advanced security‑related coursework or certifications in tactical operations, emergency response, or law‑enforcement management.
- Exceptional communication – convey concise information in high‑pressure environments.
- Crisis management – expertise in managing emergencies, assessing situations, implementing solutions.
- Tactical proficiency – defensive tactics, crisis de‑escalation, special operations protocols.
- Situational awareness – keen attention to potential risks or threats.
- Team collaboration – work seamlessly within multidisciplinary teams.
- Composure under pressure – remain calm and think critically amid intense events.
- Physical fitness – maintain high levels of stamina and endurance for emergency response.
